After 8 years working in the Landscape Industry for two established companies Nolan Ingram started, The Elements Landscaping Co in 2013. The beginning was humble and lean but exciting. “ I will never forget our first project. Jumbo Wiarton flagstone, Armour stone and 6’ random cutback steps all had to be dragged carefully by hand overtop finished stamped concrete walkways using rollers and ropes”. Each piece of flagstone was carefully cut to fit the next harmoniously. The steps strategically placed and scribed to fit the Armour stone adjacent. When complete, the smiles on the customers faces and the sense of accomplishment was infectious. I couldn’t wait to begin the next” Nolan Ingram
The Elements Landscaping Company has become Elements Hardscaping Inc. We have now developed a solid reputation in Guelph and surrounding areas. We have started to invest in equipment and have aligned with trade partners and suppliers.
The passion and creativity has reached a new level. We are focused on larger contracts with complex grades and details. Elements is still running mean and lean. With two key players on staff being groomed into managers the company is growing rapidly on a yearly basis. The days are fast paced and the expectations are high. Elements is still run like an “old school” construction company.
Elements Hardscaping Inc has become one of the premier Landscape Construction companies. Our reputation is solidified in the Guelph and surrounding area backed by past Customers, Landscape Architects, Trade Partners and our Suppliers. We are proud of our inclusive culture and have aligned with the Red Seal Horticulture program offered by Landscape Ontario and Ontario Colleges. We are adamant about Health and Safety and have moved all of our paperwork to electronic filing systems which keep our whole team synchronized and organized. Our HR department is an integral part of the business which is modelled off larger companies to ensure Elements is ready when we decide to grow. We have retained the family feel of the company and are focused on retaining a work life balance. Our projects have become dynamic as the industry has evolved. Landscape Construction is no longer a “summer job” we have solid crews whom are committed to the profession. The future is bright and exciting.
